Inferior Nasal Shell

It is located along the lateral wall of the nasal cavity.

Features two faces and two edges:

  • Medial Face – convex
  • Side Face – concave
  • Superior Border – has three processes: lacrimal, ethmoid and maxillary
  • Bottom Edge – is free and thick


The Inferior Nasal Concha articulates with 4 bones: Ethmoid, Maxilla, Lacrimal and Palatine.
