It is a light, spongy, irregular, odd bone located in the anterior part of the skull.

Horizontal Blade (Sieve)
- Crista Galli – triangular process in the midline
- Olfactory foramen – located next to the Galli crest and giving passage to the olfactory nerves
Perpendicular Blade
- Flattened lamina that forms the medial wall of the nasal septum
Lateral Masses (Labyrinth)
- Uncinate Process
- Superior Nasal Conch
- Middle Nasal Conch
The Ethmoid articulates with thirteen bones: Frontal (1), Sphenoid (1), Nasal (2), Lacrimal (2), Jaw (2), Palatine (2), Inferior Concha (2) and Vomer (1). ).
